About me

I spent my formative years in Nepal and most of my adult life in the San Francisco Bay area. Growing up in a culturally diverse household and community, I felt an innate curiosity about people's backgrounds and life experiences and developed a deep fascination with psychology. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and then Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. I am now an registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist pursuing licensure with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Science) in California.

I understand that each person's unique experiences and struggles matter. I firmly believe that the building blocks of happiness begin with fostering a constructive and healthy relationship with oneself. I am here to provide consistent support as you navigate the complexities of life. Together, we can explore ways to nurture self-compassion and cultivate inner peace. Your thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being are of utmost importance and I am committed to standing by your side throughout your mental health journey. We can work together to uncover patterns that may be holding you back, replacing them with healthier habits that promote growth and well-being. Creating a safe and judgment-free space, I  support clients to build  self-awareness and resilience. Drawing upon my training and understanding of trauma-informed, attachment, and evidence-based therapy approaches, as well as utilizing techniques such as Brainspotting, I help guide you in unlearning limiting behaviors and breaking free from harmful intergenerational patterns. To ensure the highest quality of care, I actively seek ongoing supervision, consultation with colleagues, and continuous professional development.
